During the recent 2010 Lake Champlain International Fathers Day Derby, A new lake record was set for Lake Trout. The new record Lake Trout tipped the scales at 16.77 pounds and was caught by Dana J. LaDuke of Bomoseen, Vermont.
Congratulations to Dana.
Dana's fish is testament that the Lake Champlain fishery is improving by leaps and bounds, thanks to the tireless efforts of Vermont Fish and Game, New York DEC, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
